2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?
Over the last couple years I have cried very few times, versus in the past (and uh, past relationships) where all-out crying was a near-daily event. But! I actually had a couple tears yesterday when I was throwing myself a pity party for feeling so bitchy and mean lately.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING?
Sometimes I do. But only in that it's MY handwriting. Most of the time even I can hardly decipher what the hell I wrote. I find myself longing for gorgeous handwriting like my grandmother's generation, or even the cute handwriting all Spanish people seem to have.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT?
Chicken is yuuummy! Pastrami is good too.

5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS?
Not that anyone knows about~

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON, WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU?
Okay... so this question is being read that if *I* were someone *ELSE*, would I be friends with me, not if *I* were to meet *me*. Interesting. Um, yeah, I think my friends enjoy me, so I would likely like me if I were another person of similar tastes. But if *I* were to meet *me*, I might argue with myself a lot. Or maybe we'd get along swimmingly! Probably just watch shows all the time and fight over men we like and talk about sex a lot and read Hyperbole and a half for hours.

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM?
I am vurry dry. Yep.

8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS?
Si senor. There was some whispers about my tonsils when I was younger and always had strep throat, but I grew out of catching it every other month and am fine now.

9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP?
Would I? Sure, if I don't have to pay for it. I'd rather do other high-intensity things if I had a list to pick from, but I want to try most things at least once, and fake falling to my death is intriguing. It's like testing to see what jumping off a bridge/building would feel like... you know, before you hit the bottom.

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL?
I like frosted mini-wheats, most Special K kinds, and honey bunches of oats most. After that it's the plain cereals like cheerios and rice krispies.

11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF?
Not unless I have to. I prefer shoes that I can just slide on and off, whether they have laces or not. Since the snow came I've pretty much been only wearing my boots, and even though they have a zipper I just pull them on.

12. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE FLOWERS?
I like almost all flowers. Mom was so cute at my graduation - "Now, I know you really like carnations but you need ROSES for your GRADUATION. ROSES!!!" Roses are overrated, but they're pretty. All flowers die in the end anyway, so I just enjoy them all while I can. I'd like to direct you here for a demonstration.

13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM?
Uhm. Most... ice cream? I like fruity ice creams and peanut butter ice cream and candy bar ice cream. I really like ice cream. Especially when it's hot out. I REALLY love sherbet-type ice cream. Orange, and raspberry, and mango... *drool*

14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE?
The face they're making? Like, are they making a sour face, or a happy face? Do they look bitchy? I also notice their shirt. But apparently with guys, I generally don't notice when one is attractive these days, as evidenced by Steve being appalled that I did not tell him my boss was a man-hunk. I've since studied my boss, and disagree. He's not a bad-looking man, but I definitely do not see him and go "hawt." XD

15. RED OR PINK?
Pink is more feminine and I really like it, but as I'm wearing a red shirt covered with a red hoodie and red socks with penguins on them wearing santa hats, I guess I HAVE to say red. :P

16. WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF?
Physically, so many things. I think if I had to pick what I am the least satisfied with in life, it's my looks. My tummy, my thunder thighs, my flabby, chubby arms. As I've been stuck back at 128 the last couple weeks, my boobs have once again reached Critical Levels of Huge. Blehhhh.

17. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST?
I miss Bre a lot. I try not to think about it much because who am I kidding? I'm still this introverted hermit who is likely to flake, and she's extroverted and has a ton of friends and loves to *do* things. But I still miss all of our sleepovers and work mishaps that one summer we worked together and cuddling with her blanket and laughing at her silliness and naivete and the times she's called me crying and the times that she needed me to give her The Real Truth and even the times we got high at her house and her smelly cat who bears a middle name that I gave it and her panther cat and her dysfunctional family. I miss being a part of her life <3

Wearing dark wash skinny jeans and black boots.

Just my typing right now but I HAD been watching King of the Hill on Netlfix.

Steve says that I have a golden aura with a bit of red-orange, like a sunset. Maybe that color.

23. FAVORITE SMELLS?
I love the smell of baked goods. And Indian Food. And Steve. And Grim (he smells wonderful unless he's just used the litter box). I love the smell of wood, like shop class.

Steve, I think.

26. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH?
American Football, but I've been known to enjoy a hockey game. I like to watch ultimate frisbee too.

Naturally? A sort of dull brownish-blonde.

It's a blue. Usually a really light color but it can also get very bright.

29. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS?
No, I can't stand them. They made me want to not even have eyeballs anymore. I'll take glasses or nothing.

30. FAVORITE FOOD?
I love nearly all foods, which is why I struggle to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I like Indian and Asian and Mexican and Italian and french fries <333 I love this local Indian place's food the most right now.

31. SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS?
I don't think this is an either-or question, because it doesn't make sense. I enjoy all types of movies, but usually watch more lighthearted ones as thrillers are exhausting. But Steve and I have several thrillers on our queue right now that I'm intrigued by. I like happy endings, but I don't require them.

32. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED?
Death Note II: The Last Name. Next up is Death Note: L: Change the World. Omggg Ryuk and Rem are AMAZING. Ugh. I like Rem so much more in the live action movies. Everyone was great. Also, interesting to note, I was on Light's side during the anime, but DEFINITELY on L's side in the live-action movies, even though L's adorable behavior of always stuffing his face with sweets is a lot less charming in real life.

33. WHAT COLOR SHIRT ARE YOU WEARING?
Red! Just plain, with a collar. My hoodie is also red, from Aeropostale. It was on sale for like $15 or $20.

Summer, always and forever.

Choosing one over the other is just too hard. They are best as a set.

I have several manga started, and I put down Tommyknockers in favor of Stephen King's newest collection of novellas - "Full Dark, No Stars." I'm on the second story, about a novelist who was raped and left for dead. It's quite... intense thus far. Gives me similar feelings to the end of "Misery," though for obvious reasons it also strikes a personal chord.

It's just a shade of lavender. And I'm on a work computer.

41. WHAT DID YOU WATCH ON TV LAST NIGHT?
I don't watch tv, but! Steve and I watched some Friends, King of the Hill, and I think an episode of Gangland.

48. HOW DID YOU MEET YOUR SPOUSE/SIGNIFICANT OTHER?
I met him at a movie theater while dating one of his friends. And then my siren song (and my World of Warcraft tshirt, gorgeous blue eyes, and charming personality) immediately took him over and a massive boycrush ensued. He waited quietly and patiently and eventually the fling ended. Our friends started dropping very unsubtle hints to me as I was oblivious to his feelings. And I was curious and he was nice so I said, "Sure, why not?!" even though I hadn't been crushing on him. ...At least, that's how Steve says it happened.


My back hurts. I'm working with someone other than Isaac tonight, and I don't really like her. She's spent a good deal of the evening wandering around talking on her phone, which bothers me for some reason. She decided that she plays the role of Maid, while I do the Hard Labor. Which is fine in some ways, and weird in others. She's african american and has a very thick accent from wherever she's from. But she cleaned all the bathrooms and like, did laundry, while I swept and mopped the house. I also wrapped ALL the presents for clients - cd/radios. I wrapped 18 of them in this tiny 3x4-ft space (the only space on the floor) because she claimed my office as hers for the night and I got shunned to the administrative assistant's office. So that's why my back hurts.

I've been feeling down lately. Not depressed, per se, but more irritable. I've been saying bitchy things for no reason, and I'm back to wanting only to sleep all the time. I'm really discontent, and I don't know why, exactly. Which is also a contributor as to why I've been neglecting things like LJ, emails, even ignoring calls for when I was going to volunteer (I don't care about that anymore anyway right now cause I already graduated). I love DDR but whenever Steve asks if I want to play, I mope and drag me feet and a lot of the time don't end up playing. I love Golden Sun but have been playing woefully little of that. All I can seem to do is watch Netflix and cuddle with the cats.

Rose (the coworker) just used the bathroom and opened the door BEFORE flushing, WHILE ON THE PHONE, and she did not wash her hands. I mean, I'll admit that I'm not the most perfect of handwashers sometimes (I rarely get pee on myself, etc.), but COME ON! You're using the company phone! ewww! Why is it more gross when strangers don't wash their hands than like, close family? It's like we assume they're dirtier than everyone else. I'm far from a germaphobe so I probably have a higher tolerance than most, but this... no.

I got my hair done last Saturday. Jenny was playing around a bit and is starting to move my hair more to black. I don't think I'll go all the way black, but she put in a lot of thin chunks of dark brown and purple (which with my hair quickly becomes a red). I haven't warmed up to it almost at all even though I missed having my hair brown vs the dull blonde it has been for awhile now. Everyone else seems to love it though, and that's good, since they have to see it a lot more frequently than I do. It's also really short so I can put off going back for just a bit longer.

That sucks though--that you've been feeling so down. I bet the weather isn't helping much either. I hope it passes soon. Sometimes, I get those moods, too. I ignore a lot of things, and just honestly feel like eating and sleeping and nothing else. It used to be worse, like when I was in college, or when I first graduated and had to live with my parents, but it just hasn't happened the same way since moving out to Oregon. =/ Maybe you've got the Post Degree Blues?

I think I just get into these ruts when I can't do everything that I want to NOW. I want to MOVE AWAY FROM THIS DUMB STATE and I WANT A JOB THAT KEEPS ME INTERESTED and I WANT STEVE TO HAVE A GOOD POSITION OR A BETTER DEGREE and I WANT TO PAY DOWN MY DEBT.

Etc. etc.

If I didn't have a job, I might worry about post-degree blues. But I took one class the last semester and I have a decent-paying job, and I don't miss school or the schedule of education. I'm not like Steve, who's been out of school a year and a half and has not found ONE JOB that panned out. I'm in a far more optimistic position, and work is just... stupid. I've always felt that way. I think we need to mandate 4-day work weeks vs 5 or 6. It's just healthier imo.

I dunno...I still think that maybe part of that was brought on my the whole graduation ceremony. You know, you feel like you've finally closed THAT chapter of your life, and it's as if the rest of the things you want are now finally supposed to be yours, and you CANNOT DO ANY OF THEM. Not immediately, you know?

I don't think it's exactly "post-degree blues." I had some friends who fell into a funk after graduating because they didn't know what they wanted to do with their life. But, the worst of us were the people who DID know what they wanted, at least to varying extents, who graduated and then had to come to terms with the fact that we'll have to WAIT some more. It's like, "Hey, my life has been on hold for the past 4+ years while I did the whole College thing, and now you're telling me even with that over it's STILL ON HOLD?"

It's enough to make anyone bitchy.
