ZOMG THIS IS GREAT:

Avatar Korra ^_^ Also, ROCKS! XD

Second, ZOMG f(x)'s ACTUAL ALBUM JUST CAME OUT GUHHHHHH I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOREVER AND EVER FOR IT. Omg. Girl crush asplode. Korean lust out of control.

Work today was... hard. Lots of paperwork and dealing with the one specific client. So many things to remember and document and keep track of!! And I missed an appointment D: It worked out, but I felt like an ass. On the bright side, I got to talk to my old program manager, Jeremiah, because I want to refer a client to him. It was cute.

I got my tires replaced and now my car moves like a dream in comparison. Fleet Farm gives amazing lifetime service - 30-day free tire replacement and 50% cost after that, free rotation and alignment for the life of the tire, plus free flat repair for the life of the tire! My biggest fears squashed! They also want me to go back after 100 miles to double-check that the... lug nuts or... whatever... are still on there nice and tight. I replaced a blinker bulb yesterday and today I noticed one of my rear brake lights is out too D: HAAAAAATE cars.

He loved laying in the as-yet-to-be-screwed-in game shelf... When Nero got too close he moved one slat back XD. It was so great!

You can see a teaser of some of the wall color. As of now I still want to post a separate entry on the whole painting thing, because I want it to be image-heavy. Maybe this weekend! I plan on visiting my sister and nephew on Saturday, and on Sunday going to my dad's house to spend time with their family, because Pam likes getting together on Easter.

Steve got Portal 2 yesterday and it looks sooo great. Of course I'm a storyline junkie, and this has an amazing, silly, and comedic storyline! But it looks far too difficult for me. I am spatially challenged and would probably kill myself.

I'm rather sad that it looks like I simply won't have the time to respond as much as I like, ever. But I promise I read every entry you guys post! I loooove your entries and it makes me sad that I can't keep up with them all the time. But I'll try my best. Just be okay with some comments that are maybe more concise and less involved, but know that the thought is there and it's not done as an afterthought <3

ALSO PEE ESS It has SNOWED HERE twice this week. Fuck you 30-degree weather. Fuck you week. I hate you. You snowed on me all morning and got my glasses wet. And I was cold. Oh yeah, and fuck you. D:

AHHH!! I haven't seen that specific one! =D I've been following news about Korra eagerly. I can't wait! It's gonna be awesome. =D

Yay new tires! I love it when I even just fill up my tires with air to the standards they're supposed to be--such a difference! I hate my car a little because my headlights (rear and front) seem to be wired wrong so that if I use the cigarette lighter charger thing too many times or too long over a period of time, they burn out. It's ridiculous and no one can find a link to HOW this is happening. It's just something I noticed over the 6-7 years I've had it.

Oh, Grim! So adorable! <3

Awww...it's sad to see you disappearing off of LJ! T.T Maybe I'll have to give you my number so you can text instead! =D

We had a random dip back into Winter Weather for three days recently--freezing rain, hail, 25-30 degree weather (so, uh....warm day for you guys? XD), but it's back up to the mid-50s getting into the low 60s again, like Spring should. Just in time for Milly to move here! Booyah!

Yayyyy! I'm SOOOO excited about Korra! :D

Me too! Especially with my bad tire, it's like the car would raise up half a foot! It was always so satisfying. That's so weird about your wiring! D: That'd be a HUGE problem for me because my iPod charger is ALWAYS plugged into the cigarette lighter. The worst I have is my gas gauge doesn't work. I THINK that's the worst. It's funny how you get so used to your vehicle that you forget all the little funny things you know how to deal with XD

That'd be sooo awesome for texting!~ I'm hoping that after another month or two that I'll be more in the swing of things, because right now I am just EXHAUSTED every day. @_@

Ugh, that sucks about the weather! That actually sounds colder than here. Weather here is SO weird. I think we've actually had temps in the 70's a day or two, and all last week it was low 30's. And WINDY omg. That's what's made it so bad. No sun to warm the earth because it's cloudy, and the wind was cheeeely! Yay Milly! I haven't read your journal yet today so I may just be asking this stupidly, but is she for sure moving there?!

Yeah--it's a problem for us because of the GPS. It's already happened twice in the past year alone. We had a front headlight go out, and a rear tail light. So, there ya go. =/ But, that's the only real weird thing about my car, haha. It's really a great car, and really well-maintained.

Yay texting! I'm a big texting person, especially since most people I know has of the jobs. XD

Our weather is great because it USUALLY doesn't do huge swings in temperature or such--we're going to keep gradually going up. Today was in the 60s with great sun, and gentle breezes, so everyone was out in t-shirts and shorts and dresses, sitting outside and the like. Awesome!

She is for sure moving here--she'll be here next Friday. I don't think I've updated about it on my LJ. She put in her 2-weeks on the 13th of April. Just finally got too fed up with the bullshit, especially after a meeting about what consituted a SNACK or a MEAL. "One piece of bread is a snack, but TWO are a MEAL because they're ONE ingredient away from a sandwich. An APPLE is okay, but not an APPLE *AND* A BANANA, because that's a MEAL" and so on. And meals cannot be eaten at one's desk, unless one is a manager, like Trudi, who calls out sick once a week (every week), takes half-days for no reason, stops working when she feels like it, etc. Seriously--pitch a fit. D=

I think I'm either going to invest in a GPS, or ask for one/contributions to one if I can wait that long (my birthday's all the way in November). Like, an actual GPS, because the phone is definitely helpful, but it's still far inferior to a real-life GPS. As one who is going to be traveling a lot, I think it will be a necessary and invaluable addition to my car.

I refuse to listen to the radio, and I recently went back to my old original 30GB iPod (versus my gen 4 nano) in order to hold all the songs I had, and in this varied weather, the battery drains faster sitting out in the cold. Yes, I abuse my toys, because I expect them to work no matter what -_- I hate bringing it in the house because then I'll forget it if I'm in a hurry. And I caaaaan't spend a whole day with the radio D: I have a couple burned CDs and whatnot, but I'd rather have thousands of songs vs like 18. I am spoiled.

Oh, I did the thing again where I commented the wrong thought on the wrong reply. So... I'll repeat it! I wannnaaaaa be textinggggg! XD It will be so awesome and great! It'll be far easier to keep up on day-to-day things! I hope it won't be too hard to get used to my weird way of writing things sometimes (weird spellings and sayings [general netspeak, saying 'supachu' to mean sup-with-you, bad grammar that I think is cute/fun - like 'I be missing yo entries!!!' etc.]). I say "chu" instead of "you" quite frequently, even though I know its actual meaning. XD

Today was actually really nice, between 60 and 65. I loved it. The sun is soooo amazing.

Yay! I hope she won't be too weirded out by me adding her as a friend - I've been to her journal only once before this - but I feel like we'd get along pretty well. And OH MY GOD I would throw a fit about the food thing. I am a HUGE "Did you get enough to eat?! Do you want something else?! Are you SURE you've gotten enough food?!!!!" kind of person, and I have no idea why. Parameters on food and rules about it would make me asplode. I'd be LIVID. holy shit. I'm sooooo glad she's getting out there. I hope her life gets infinity times better with the move ^_^

I cannot even tell you how awesome our GPS has been for us. Even if you manage to get by with your current phone one for the time being--and it should be able to be sufficient at least. When you plan on moving, it's ESSENTIAL. Sure, reading a map is good too, for the driving bit. But, once you're in a new city, or when you stop for the day (if it's a multi day drive), being able to use the GPS is sometimes the difference between being a loser who can't drive around because they have no idea where the hotels, gas stations, restaurants, etc are. Again, you can use your phone for some/most of this. But, the GPS in the car is just really awesome, especially since given that their only function is GPS, they tend to be faster than a phone, which has to process all manner of things.

We don't listen to the radio at all. D= I don't even know a station anymore. We had to listen to it when our iPod player stopped working, before we got a replacement. It was kind of nice because I could hear about local going ons (like concerts and the like) but I never heard any songs I really really liked.

But, our car doesn't allow for an iPod player. I only have a CD player, and I've never been able to find a converter that allowed for my car--and we cannot use the cigarette lighter, especially not when we also have to charge Valentine (name of GPS), and not with the problem of tail/head lights. =(

Instead we have around 70 mixed CDs. Yes, it requires changing CDs, but it also ensures that Brian--who needs time to "warm up" to songs as he puts it--can learn the songs at a more comfy pace for him. I can hear a song three times and have it pretty much memorized, at least well enough to sing along to most of it, depending on how clear the lyrics are. Sometimes, less. But, I know thousands of songs and lyrics by heart. The funny thing is, HE's the musical one. XD

I often mess with grammar in texts! =D I think it's funny, since I'm such a grammar nazi in so many other walks of life. I often do things like use the wrong tense of a verb, ie: "How be the Miwee on this fine Friday morning?" or "I is of the hunger. D= Where be the food?!" These are texts I have sent in the past two days. XD I DO use proper punctuation though. In fact, most of my texts look remarkably like my comments on LJ. XD Including words like "remarkably" and "thwarted."

It was okay today--but we're about to go into a rainy, cold week. Just as So Cal heats up into the 80s, we're getting back to the low 50s. Milly will drive up and get progressively colder. Sigh. Lucky for us though next weekend should be perfectly sunny and warm up into the low-mid 60s. Sigh. Personally, I've busted out my Spring Wardrobe for realz now. =D

Milly loves getting new LJ friends. =D Just leave a comment or something so she knows to add you back. She's rarely on here as of late, but that will likely change as she's here in Oregon. Besides, she's LJ pals with outlier1985, and she only knew him 'cause he's on my LJ list. XD Besides, she knows who you are, at least by name. "Oh, Leah was just saying the other day--" "Leah?" "Oh god, Milly. Seriously?" "Oh, Girl From Minnesota~!" "Yes. We've been through this..." XD

Bahaha that's soooo true! Plus, GPS is a billion times easier to use in order to locate the various locales vs a phone GPS. I'd rather die most times than try to use my phone's GPS to find something I don't already know the address of XD

If only there was a way to play iPods through CDs! They really need to come up with a better way than an iTrip, because those are okay at best. I'm thankful that my car still came with a cassette player, and Steve bought me a really good iPod cassette (some Error out a lot, or only play out of one speaker after awhile, or have bad sound quality after awhile, etc.) by chance, it was just at like Target or Best Buy or something, and it's lasted me a long time.

That's so interesting about Brian and songs! Because I put a bunch of new music on the 30GB, I've been only listening to it on shuffle, adding thousands of more songs at one time (I took a lot of Steve's music that he knew I'd like) makes it difficult to even know what band is which at any given time. I've finally given up on the amazing variety and started focusing on bands. Currently it's PlayRadioPlay ^_^ And 70 CDs?! Where do you keep them all?? I always got mine sun-damaged or scratched D:

YES THAT'S HOW I TALK TOOOOO!!!!! It's always sad when I talk with someone who's not familiar with my texting style. Like, my friend Eric will sometimes IM me from AIM when he's bored, because I NEVER sign into AIM, but I have it forever on forwarding to Mobile. Because on MY end I'm texting, I often use the silly speak, and he gets all confused and doesn't know what I'm saying! But it's obvious to me! XD He has not experienced the type of Speak you and I are versed in!

Hee hee "Girl from Minnesota." XDDD

I know, right?! I hate that my car tried to be all advanced by only having a CD player (and, for that matter, a 7-cd player), and NO TAPE PLAYER. So, I can't do the tape iPod thing. Go, figure, right? Sigh. And, to compound things, the mixed CDs don't often want to play in the back 6-CD changer thing, so the only one that gets used is the one in the front of the car. Haha, useless tech...

Yeah, I can browse songs on iTunes, and can make a call on whether a song will be good or not in often as little as 5-10 seconds. I like that they expanded the preview to a minute and thirty seconds, particularly when I'm checking out 7 minute or 12 minute songs. Haha. But, I can tell VERY quickly if I'll like a song. Brian can have almost NO IDEA on the first three FULL LISTEN THROUGHS whether he'll dig it or not. He just doesn't really particularly like the sound of "new, unfamiliar" music. It isn't just music that I can do this with either--it's books, too. I think it's just the difference in our experience with the mediums. I have listened to a bazillion songs, from all genres, and since I only really enjoy a certain quality level from songs, I have an extremely broad range of knowledge. And since I value originality in books, I've had to branch out my fingers there as well. =/

All our CDs are in one of those CD holders, like a giant binder. They're also all kept in order that they were made, and they're always put back in their correct spot. It makes it really easy to find the CD you're looking for, particularly if you're like, "Let's see...how about one of the CDs you made while we were in Florida? Or the ones from the road? Really recent?" and so on.

AW YEAH!! Let's hear it for the funny talkers! XD I mean, I don't talk like that ALL the time--but I also do things like sometimes add in bits of French or Japanese. "Quoi?" (What?) or "Hai, wakarimashita." (Right, understood!) or even just things like, "Douuuuushiteeeeeee?!?" (Whhyyyyyy?!) And sometimes my texts are almost complete nonsense, like, "And so the young Miwee combats valiantly against the File Folder Dragon. Has she partaken of the coffee as yet, or has her energy flagged, and she be near defeat?" and "Hark! There be miwees in this here land!" For...no real reason. XDDD

Ahaha stupid CD-changer! I completely forgot that you can use a CD book for CDs OMGGG. Lol! I haven't used more than a visor for CDs in ages, so apparently that gives me the dumb. That's super cool that you guys keep them in order. I am def not that organized, but it'd be neat to keep track of how tastes have shifted in various periods.

Brian's so fascinating! XD As I've probably said before, I've been known to like something if you make me listen to it long enough. It's been proven several times with specific genres, including country and types of screamy music. Because of that, a song I start out not really liking can easily grow on me. I try not to say whether or not I *like* a song if I'm unsure, because it hurts MY feelings if I LOVE a song and someone I'm showing it to says after 15 seconds, "I hate it." Especially if the song is not the same for the whole however-many-minutes! D: Ugh, Pat does that with EVERYTHING. He's too opinionated. I do NOT share my musical tastes with him anymore.

Me either ^_^ But sometimes I get in a mood! I will often intermix regular and not texts depending on what's being said. Those silly text examples (especially the short story about the dragon XD) sound a lot like the way Pat texts, only his are usually completely disconnected from the conversation, or dirty, or like a riddle! :P I love funy texting! I'll be messaging you my number naooooo!
