i would have gladly loved to have been only 10,000 in debt to loans by the time i finished school...nope, not me...by the time i graduated I was 65,000 in debt so really i dont think 10,000 is going to sink you. 10 grand is certainly not insurmountable by any means...you could have that paid off in two years if you planned right.
i really hate when people pull shit like that it pisses me off...its your life, your money and its none of his business how much of a loan you accept
