Steve has been extra gooshy lately. It's very endearing. Although we do a lot of little things to keep up all the love and avoid stagnancy.
The other day we took a walk to a nearby park and laid out a blanket and played our DSes and cuddled while the sun went down. When the mosquitoes started using us as dinner, we walked back to the house, but instead sat in my car, listening to music and continuing our electronic adventures. It was very nice, and adorable.
On Friday we were following our usual routine, taking turns playing DDR. We usually each play for at least 35 minutes, often over an hour. Steve usually plays first, while I either play my DS or pretend to play while getting distracted watching him. This day was no different, he was trying periodically to beat the hardest song in the game and I was taking extended peeks over my DS to watch him. When he did complete the song, he came over to me and sat down and he leaned over me for a kiss. Then he just started describing all these wonderful things about his love for me. I of course can't remember any of it because it was so beautiful I could only take in the concept, breathe in the words, and look into his deep blue eyes. In response, I made a joke about the endorphins getting to him. I live for wonderfully intimate and loving moments like that.
