-New book: "Love In Translation"-Wendy Nelson Tokunaga. Reread: "Snowcrash"-Neal Stephenson.

-2 piercings in each ear.

-Starting a book I know I can't put down when I won't finish before it's super late.

-If I could believe that I was actually seeing you, sure.

-Play: soccer, tennis, badminton. Watch: Tennis (and only if given no other option).
12) Pessimistic or Optimistic?
-I like to think of myself as a Realist. It really depends on what it is. I can't just say I have a single, all-time-blanket attitude towards things. I try to be more fair than that.
13) Stuck in an elevator with me?
-Chat. Maybe panic because of my claustrophobia. If it's the elevator I got stuck in while in that hotel in Spain, then I will probably be screaming and crying. Like I did then as well. XD
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
-Eeehhh...probably college.

-I used to make lists about random facts about myself.

-Only in spirit, but I still think of Chico as "my cat" even though he's with my mom in FL.
17) I show up at your house unexpectedly?
-Depends. Today? Say, "Hey! Stick around and you can celebrate my birthday! Yay!" But, if it was inconvenient for me, I would turn you away. I'm not afraid of telling people to go away, when they've chosen not to respect the fact that I may not desire or may not be in a position to accept company.

-Depends on the clown. "IT" = scary. Chibi anime clown = cute.
20) Change one thing about your looks?
-Oh god. Only one? ....probably my eye color. I would love to have inherited my mom's green eyes instead of some far-away ancestor who had very dark brown eyes.
21) Crime partner or Conscience?
-Conscience, though it might depend on the crime. Revenge, or theft, are enormously selfish actions that take a person out of context of the whole of humanity, and that's not right. But, breaking into the Pentagon to hault the launch of more bombs on other people...I'd be okay with that.

-Hah! No. Not even close.

-GLASS BOTTLE!

-Put away all but $3k into my checking account to be used to contribute to the household. The $3k I'd send to my friend Milly.

-Honestly? I enjoy going out, but my favorite hangout has always been my bedroom, regardless of which house it was.
27) Ghosts?
-Only in a deep-rooted-horror-movie-inspired way. I don't think I believe in the existence of the soul, not given my neurobiology and biology background. And since I don't think we're anything super special that transcends the time we're alive, I can't believe in ghosts. But, oh god. The idea of seeing something/someone other than me in the mirror, either standing where I'm supposed to, or just in the background (when no one is really there) makes me want to break down and run screaming into the sunlight. T.T
28) Fav. thing to do in your spare time?
-Read. Watch movies. Play video games. =D
29) Do you swear a lot?
-Sometimes. I certainly wouldn't make it as a professional rapper, if that's what you're asking. But, I do swear on a daily basis.
30) Biggest pet peeve?
-When people say that they are going "up" or "down" when it's the opposite in regards to actual North/South orientation. Such as a friend of mine living south of me saying, "I'll come down to you soon." Or someone living north of me saying, "Oh, I'd like to go up and see you sometime." NO! WRONG! IT'S WRONG!!! "UP" is traveling NORTH and "DOWN" is traveling SOUTH!!! AAAAAHHHH!!!!!

-Fair.
32) Do you believe/appreciate romance?
-Totally! Well, okay. Tailored-specifically-for-me-Athena romance. I don't dig just general "all girls like this" bullshit. Puhlease.

-Spicy eggplant+tofu. Any type of soup (it looks too much like regurgitated food for me to eat it...especially if it has vegetables in it, then the veggies SQUISH like already-partially-digested food...)

-No. Sometimes I wish I still did...but, there's no room for God in my understanding of the world.

I assure you, I am no stalker, unless you consider me eagerly reading your entries daily as stalking ;) I also would never show up to your house unannounced! Rejection anxiety rules, and I'm not that rude. What happened in the elevator in Spain?!?!! I've never had eggplant to my knowledge, so I will definitely have to seek some out and make a tofu+eggplant dish. Probably not spicy though, because I am a BABY about spice. I enjoyed your explanation about ghosts, I imagine on my deep level I feel that way in terms of biology and transcendence (but superstitions about ghosts I grew up with are hard to break on the superficial level), and I 100% AGREE on the terrifying monster/ghost/poltergeist thing.

Yea, I'm married. My anniversary is the 25th of September. It really doesn't get more serious than that. Well, I suppose it does. I mean, he could get cancer, or become a vegetable and I could have to change his diapers and spoon feed him. But let's hope it doesn't get there.

Creepy. Any grown adult who enjoys putting on costumes and heavy make up and spending the bulk of their time around young children is one creepy mother fucker in my book.

I would grow 7 inches.

Hazel, though they are most often green. They occasionally turn storm cloud gray.

Bottle. It holds carbonation better and keeps dairy products fresh longer.

Put it in a short term CD with the highest interest I could find. Upon maturation, I would disperse it to my money market account and use the principle and accrued interest to help pay for my M.A. Ed.

I like coffee shops, but we don't have a lot of those around here. It's the one of the only acceptable places someone not in high school can hang out without being weird. Every once in a while I hang out at Barnes and Nobel.

Yes.

Work on my stories.

Not in public. Not even really so much in private either unless I'm angry about something.

I guess. But because I see love differently than most, I find traditional romance bothersome. You can't just show up with roses and expect me to swoon. It has to be way more thoughtful, insightful and subtle for me to be touched.

STEAK NOMNOMNOM. Nice and rare. I have a complex pallet, but nothing beats a fat marbled steak with a nice smooth Bordeaux. I hate rice pudding.

I love your dry manner of epxression, a lot! And I would love some pie, tyvm ^_^ Clowns are stupid outside of cartoons. Steak is delicious, but I like mine lean and well-done. I've never gotten flowers as a surprise (only on holidays, if ever), and I think we all have our specific ideas of romance. Your worst habit of self-doubt is a really good answer (I sometimes have trouble deciding whether mine is superficial, as they come to mind faster, or if I can pinpoint a deep-rooted one). I WOULD be surprised about your beliefs in God had I not read your entry on the subject! I enjoy how specifically you would save your 10k. :)
