I've never gotten flowers as a surprise (only on holidays, if ever), and I think we all have our specific ideas of romance. Your worst habit of self-doubt is a really good answer (I sometimes have trouble deciding whether mine is superficial, as they come to mind faster, or if I can pinpoint a deep-rooted one).
