Funny enough I took a class called Death & Dying in college. I was bored and I paid to take 18 credits soooo yea. Fun class. It led me to the inevitable conclusion that I just want them to harvest my viable organs and burn the rest. I got to learn some seriously quirky crap about death, though! Like, for instance, did you know that some scientists in the 18th century tried to weigh a soul to prove it's existence? For the longest time, there was a bell attached to headstones, just in case the guy wasn't dead yet! That's actually where the saying "buried alive" comes from.

I'm firmly convinced funerals have nothing to do with the deceased and everything to do with the survivors. Every group is a little bitter different.
